I was born in 1989, nearby the lake of Como, in a small town called La Valletta Brianza.
It’s almost like 18 years that I’m dealing with music, since when I started with piano and drums at the age of 12, but my professional career and official study path began when I was 20.
I focus my research and study mostly on Jazz and in general blak music, like Soul, Blues, Rythm & Blues, but I had the opportunity during this years to play Pop and Rock music.
I graduated at the age of 24 at the “Accademia Internazionale della Musica” in Milan, in piano jazz, and in general I had the incredible luck to be leaded in my growing path by many excellent musicians. Franco D'andrea, Dado Moroni, Paolo Tomelleri, Gerald Cannon, Marco Vaggi, Gabriele Comeglio, Enrico Intra, Massimo Colombo, Franco Cerri, Enrico Merlin, and more.
In occasion of the "Nuoro Jazz Seminaries" in 2013, under thesupervision of Bruno Tommaso, I won a scholarship with one of my compositions, and in the same course in 2015, under the supervision of Dado Moroni, I won the scholarship of "Best Pianist of
the course", which gave to me the opportunity to attend many concerts and organize the grow of the band with the other scholarship winners of that year.
I spent the most of my career in Milan, in which I formed part of the "CCDJ Tomelleri jazz Orchestra", "Civica Jazz Band", under the leading of Enrico Intra, and other jazz projects
headed by me, such as "John Bramley Miz Trio", "Gimbra Duo", "Freak Spirit".
In the summer of 2015 I took part in, probably, the two most influent and significative projects I ever had the pleasure to work with: "Sugar Daddy And The Cereal Killers", Rythm 'n Blues power band that, basically, taught me how to play the Blues, and "Cipriano's Banda", a wonderful and poliedric band, dealing with italian swing, old-fashioned songwriters and italian poets of the last century.
Now I live in León, in the north of Spain, leading many projects. I started a collaboration with Javier Baillo, beloved friend and companion, a blues project with Mario Delgado, founding "Downtown Alley", with whom I started a collaboration too with the University of León based on conferencies about afroamerican music and his social influence, I'm heading the cicle of the first jam sessions jazz after ten years, and work on didactic and teaching.
